The actress and fitness guru Jane Fonda, who appeared in more then 40 movies has released her memoirs. My Life Is So Far is the name of her autobiography that hit the stores on Tuesday (random House, $26.95).
The book reveals the secret suicide of her mother, Frances Seymour Fonda, who did away with herself when Jane was only 12-years-old. Then she tells of the awful disease – bulimia, which started while Fonda was a teenage student at a boarding school in New York. She brought the sickness through all her life, keeping it in secret from her husbands and children, untill it did not stop in her early 40s.
Part of her manuscript is devoted to her sex life with her first husband - French director Roger Vadim. The Oscar winning actress revealed the experimental relationship with her husband and other women when they lived in Paris in the early '60s. "Sometimes there were three of us, sometimes more. Sometimes it was even I who did the soliciting," she writes in her book.
The 67-year-old Barbarella star have had a 15-year-break in her movie career. This year she thought it’s enough for her and her new movie Monster-In-Law is opening May 13.
