Jaze Modeling, a Dayton-based privately held company, focusing on helping intermediate and beginning models assemble a modeling portfolio, gain experience and industry knowledge, announced its new alliance with Sapphire Magazine. Sapphire Magazine is a new up and coming fashion publication based in Dayton Ohio. Jaze Modeling president and head photographer, Jason George, will be serving as the magazine's Head of Photography and his company Jaze Modeling will be handling the sourcing and management of models and photoshoots for Sapphire.
The two companies had been talking and planning together for the last month and formally made the announcement of their alliance today. "I feel really great about working with Jaze Modeling. Jason and his company really bring a lot to the table to help Sapphire progress. There are many plans for Sapphire's future. This is only the beginning, and its just going to get bigger and better. With the help of Jaze Modeling, and the support I continue to get daily this project will become a huge success," said Sarah Miller, Owner of Sapphire Magazine.
The magazines first issue is slated for the fall 2004 and will start as a quarterly periodical highlighting a wide variety of fashion from fresh new designers that will appeal to the mainstream trendy to the alternative punk consumer. Sapphire will also feature health and beauty how-to's and information and articles on latest trends and new faces in the industry.
"I wanted to create something different. Something totally unique, so I came up with the idea of creating a fashion magazine that not only keeps people updated on all the latest in fashion, beauty, health and entertainment, but I wanted to feature people and products you've never heard of or seen before. I have always felt that there is so much talent out there that is way overlooked, and I wanted to have the chance to change that for people," commented Sarah Miller on her motivation for starting Sapphire.
Jaze Modeling will assist the publication by supplying models and photography services for Sapphire's pages as well as assisting with media purchasing and print production. "Jaze Modeling is very excited about this alliance. Sapphire Magazine opens new doors for Jaze Modeling and it's clients. We're looking forward to the opportunities this presents to grow both companies. We were intrigued by the concept and purpose of Sapphire Magazine. Since we work primarily with new models we're excited to be able to help forward Sarah's goals for Sapphire by proving fresh new faces to the modeling world for her publication." said Jason George.
