Jennifer Lopez has become the target for the animal rights group PETA (People For The Ethnical Treatment Of Animals) after they found out that the singer used fur in her fashion line Sweetface. She said during the radio interview in that she actually knows nothing about how fur is made.
Earlier this month the group members attacked J Lo at the record company Virgin Record in New York. The activists confronted J.Lo at Virgin Records studios in New York City where they shouted the singer and screened footage of animals being skinned for their fur to passers-by.
Lopezclaims that she’s completely ignorant about the fur issue on the DJ Jackie O's show. She said: "If someone would like to educate me and bring something to light that I don't know, that'd be great. «Jackie O replied: "Would you like to be educated right now?" and then described in details how animals are skinned alive or electrocuted. J Lo couldn’t say a single word, reports the New York Daily News.
Some sources report that the next PETA protest is planned during the screening of Lopez' latest film Monster-In-Law next month.
