According to LAUNCH Radio Networks the Grammy Award-winning rapper and producer Kanye West said that he’s planning on charging magazines for appearing on their covers in the future.

West said, "These magazines make money from ads and subscriptions...So if you're putting me on the cover and people are buying your magazine because of me, why shouldn't I get paid to be on that cover? You are going to have to pay me to do magazine covers now!"

Allhiphop.com reports that the Playgirl magazine is ready to pay West for posing nude on their cover. The editors of other magazines such as GQ and Ebony found West's statement funny and even ridiculous.

It’s not known if the West’s representatives responded to the offer. The rapper is now working on his new album Late Registration. He’ll soon be releasing one more video "Spaceship," from his double-platinum debut album the College Dropout.
