Kate Moss is furious about the shocking “facts” of her biography depicted in the new book about the supermodel’s life.

The book, Kate Moss: Model of Imperfection, written by Katherine Kendall, claims the beauty lost her virginity at 14, began smoking and drinking heavily at the age of 13, and by 15 she was spending more time on the catwalk than at school.

As reports India Daily, a source revealed: “Kate may be only 30 but she’s already lived quite a life. Her string of boyfriends and jetset lifestyle should make very interesting reading. Last night the publisher told us they stood by the book saying: ’There are stories in the biography that may shock some of Kate’s fans but we think it’s even-handed. We hope Kate will be OK with it - she’s pretty thick-skinned.’”

The book will be published by Chamberlain Bros, an offshoot of Penguin, and released in February.

“She’s not seen the book yet but will be going over it with a fine-tooth comb. She will take legal action if there’s anything in there that’s not true,” said a spokesman for the model.

“Kate’s fiercely protective of her privacy. We’ll be very interested to see what this supposed biography has to say.”
