Kylie Minogue has gained iconic status within the fashion industry. The trendy Australian has been a regular attendee of fashion shows and weeks. Lately, her fashion choices have been commanding even more respect among industry insiders. Kylie’s stylist William Baker has teamed up with UK’s most unconventional designer Gareth Pugh to create costumes for the singer’s Showgirl tour, as reports the British Vogue.

Pugh is designing some extravagant and exclusive outfits for Kylie Minogue and for some of the male back dancers. He demonstrates a penchant for experimentation with shape and proportion.

"I love to change the shape of things," he says. "Whether it's inflatable or padded it doesn't matter. It's just so much more interesting for me to consider the space around the body as opposed to concentrating solely on the body."
