The beautiful pop diva Kylie Minogue has reportedly split with her creative director of more than 10 years, William Baker, who created her famous golden hotpants.
On her official web-site the singer has made a statement, which says: "I wanted to let you know that my dear friend William Baker, whose work as my Creative Director you will know and love, has decided to step down from his position,” the 36-year-old singer said.
“This is something we have been talking about for a while and it was always our intention to finish our creative partnership with the Greatest Hits album and Showgirl Tour. Willie and I have worked closely together for 11 years and both feel it is the time to move on. The timing is perfect as this tour is such a celebration for us. Don't worry, we are still the best of friends and I can't wait to see what he will do next".
Baker got Kylie to the top of her fame with the purchase of the golden hot pants at a London market, which she wore in her video for the comeback single Spinning Around in 2000.
When the blonde beauty created an exhibition of her most recognizable stage outfits at the Art Center in Melbourne, the insurance company quoted GBP1 million for her golden hotpants.
