German designer Karl Lagerfeld has finally unveiled his long-anticipated collection for popular Swedish apparel label Hennes&Mauritz, better known as H&M. The winter collection, which comes in blacks and whites, features about 30 designs including elegant little black dresses and high-collar white shirts.
The prices are more then affordable - the most expensive item, a black double-breasted woolen coat is priced around $150 (while an average tweed suit that the designer creates for Chanel costs around $ 5000).
Ive been fascinated by what they do for a long time, says Lagerfeld on his cooperation with H&M and they were apparently interested in what I represent.
The designer, who starred in an ad campaign for the collection, has also created a limited-edition scent entitled Liquid Karl and a line of accessories. The products are due to hit the stores by November 12.
