Fashion icon Donatella Versace has offered controversial music legend Madonna to star in her advertising campaign at a Versace perfume launch in London last month, reports the Daily News. The early word was that Madonna might pose as a favor. But an insider revealed, that although aware of Versace House’s financial struggle and taking into account her long-term relationship with Donatella, the diva had asked for $12 million, after giving it a second thought. The price could include TV commercials as well as print ads. The talks have also touched upon the subject of Madonna’s collaboration on a fashion line.
The stars representative confirmed that the things are on the move. The photo shoot by Mario Testino is scheduled for the end of this month. Madonna is coming up with ideas for the campaign, said a source. She wants the ads to be provocative and sexy. She wants everyone to know how good she looks at 46.
