Mandy Moore will promote the new Coach handbags. The pop and movie star was chosen to become the face of Scribble Signature Collection ad campaign in Asia, according to Fashion Wire Daily.
“Mandy Moore is the perfect match for the Scribble advertising campaign as she embodies Coach’s distinctive American style," said the company's president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff . "We were looking for someone who exemplifies classic and youthful style -- and Mandy embodies that. She represents the timelessness of Coach and the fun and playful spirit of the brand."
The beauty, who recently launched her own clothing line and label, called Mblem, is also going to sing at a free Play for Peace at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium concert on Saturday, April 9, alongside rockers N.E.R.D. And Japanese singer Mika Nakashima.
Coach has promised a minimum of $150,000 from the sale of Scribble handbags to UNICEF. The Scribble Signature Collection includes bandanas, watches, hats and umbrellas in addition to the expected wallets and handbags, and retails from $38 to $258.
