The black Alumni of Pratt’s 14th annual “Celebration of the Creative Spirit“ event, which took place on Friday night at Jazz at Lincoln Center, featured such important guests as Linda Evangelista, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey and Manolo Blahnik.

The designer of Carie Bradshow's favorite shoes was awarded with the “Pinnacle in Art and Design Award”. 

Blahnik – the famous footwear designer, who received the award from the hands of the world-known super model and a good friend of his Linda Evangelista, was communicating with the young generation of designers.

One young lady even handed him the portfolio with her works saying that she wants to be just like him". Blahnik  reviewed it with interest.

He also admitted that he doesn’t like to be in the spotlight, saying: "I don't like these occasions. I'm feeling neurotic and in a state."
