The Australian-born and Italian-based model Megan Gale flew from Sydney today to launch the new range of sunscreen products, which includes the Invisible SPF 30-plus zinc cream, that went on the market last year. The supermodel appeared at the Queen Victoria complex in the CBD to launch her range, Megan Gale Suncare, causing a stir in Melbourne.

29-year-old Gale was shocked by a life-size cut-out promotional image of herself, saying, “My god, I've never seen one of those before.” As reports The Australian, the Aussie beauty from Perth said the new sunscreen range did not mean Australians would see a much paler version of her in the future.

“I’m not anti-suntan or anti-going to the beach, but I do believe you need a good sunscreen for protection,” she said.

The customers can also get a tan while staying out of the sun, with spray-on product Jet Set Tan.

The sun care line is part of a Perth-based pharmacy company.
