Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova who survived in natural disaster December 26th ’04 is reportedly going to her boyfriend’s funeral. The body of British photographer Simon Atlee who was lost in tsunami wave, was found and identified in Thailand March 03.

The famous couple of Sports Illustrated cover model and fashion photographer whose romance lasted for two years were spending their Christmas holidays at the Thai resort of Khao Lak in a bungalow on the beach when the awful disaster happened.

The great wave lifted the model to the top of the palm tree, where she managed to grasp. The tree actually saved her, but poor beauty had to spend eight hours clinging to the tree with broken pelvis and with streams of water around her, before the rescue party saved her.

 All the time that the model was recovering at home in Czech Republic she was hoping her lover could have survived, but now the officials in Thailand confirmed that the body of 33-year-old photographer was found and identified. The family of the dead and British officials now are working on having the body repatriated.

The 25-year-old Victoria’s Secret model is planning to attend a funeral service. Atlee's sister, Jodi Hansard told the New York Daily News from her London home: "We're very relieved that he's been found, and we're very grateful for all the hard work that people have done to help find him. We'd really appreciate being left alone now to mourn him privately."
