The less-than-three-month marriage of socialite Nicky Hilton, sister of scandalously famous hotel heiress Paris has not only come to its logical but also legal conclusion. 21-year-old Hilton and money manager Todd Meister, 33, were granted an annulment on Monday by a judge in Las Vegas, the representative for the couple told Reuters.

“Both parties have ended the marriage amicably, and they remain good friends, ” their publicists said in a joint statement.

The conjugal union was formed at a surprise ceremony at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel on August 15.

Allegedly Nicky started seeking an annulment last month, due to being too young to be married and having essentially platonic relationship with Meister, according to her unnamed friend.

It’s not clear though, when the pair filed the annulment paperwork in Clark County Family Court. A court spokesman said a case under the name of Todd Meister was filed Monday but the judge sealed it.
