Former “Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson is busy promoting her newly released book in TV and print. The novel, written in cooperation with ghostwriter Eric Shaw Quinn, is an autobiographical tale of a Florida girl’s rise to Hollywood stardom. “It’s a fun, sexy, summertime story,” says Anderson. “We’re poking fun at ourselves before anyone else can.”
Although “writer” seems a highly-unlikely career objective for Pam, who has admitted poor grammar skills, fan reviews so far have been favorable. "Someone said, 'This isn't crap.' And I said, 'Can we write that on the back?' - says Anderson.
The 37-year-old Playboy pin-up dedicated her creation to all the men she has loved. No real names mentioned, but celebrities she has been romantically linked to - including ex-husband Tommy Lee and ex-boyfriend Kid Rock – are the prototypes for the book’s male characters.
Unsurprisingly, the book’s cover features a nearly nude photo of Pam, who’s apparently keen not to disappoint her fans and reveal all – as expected.
Pam and her ghostwriter are currently working on the novel’s sequel.
