Style guru Patricia Field presented her House of Field collection as part of the two-day launch of Gillettes Venus Vibrance razor in Times Square, New York last Thursday. The Patricia Field fashion show started with ballet dancers, dressed in tight-fitting one-legged outfits in metallic colors, moving provocatively to suggestive music like Lets Get Physical by Olivia Newton John.
The designer, best known for creating fashionable wardrobes of “Sex and the City” characters and for her hip store Hotel Venus in Soho, New York, continued the show with daytime looks, featuring knee length shorts, cleavage-baring jackets combined with white oversized pearl necklaces, a selection of saucy swimsuits in bold prints accessorized with pink and orange striped leg warmers, feathered coats, bejeweled stockings and lots of fedora hats
"This is a great opportunity for us, with Gillette behind us," Field told Fashion Wire Daily. "Times Square is the center of the city. I would love to have a fashion show [here] every week! It really worked out well."
