Winner of Americas Next Top Model Eva Pigford has signed up to appear in ads for Apple Bottoms by Nelly. Los-Angeles native Pigford, who vied for Top Model alongside competitors Amanda Swafford and Yaya Da Costa Johnson, will pose for billboard ads for the brand which has been chosen one of Oprahs Favorites in 2004, as one of the Best Fitting Jeans by Suede magazine, Top 10 Not so Basic Jeans by Teen People Magazine and also being the number 1 selling brand in the junior street wear category during the Holidays 2004 season.
This is the first ad campaign for 19-year-old student, who landed a $100,000 CoverGirl contract, a spread in Elle Magazine and a contract with Ford Models.
She said after her win:
“I am a cover girl. This little tomboy from L.A. that has never been beautiful. I was not the cute girl in school. I came here the shortest and the one that had the most insecurities inside of them, and now I’m America’s Next Top Model.”
“Watch out, world-here comes Eva!”
A fourth season of America’s Next Top Model will air in March 2005.
