On the March 14, the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., owned by Donald Trump, played host to the gala benefit to honor praise Sean P. Diddy Combs and raise money for arts education.
Formally dressed Donald Trump and his wife Melania attended the gala. Melania wore a white slip dress while Mr. Trump wore his dark blue suit with a neon pink tie looking friendlier than usual. Kimora Lee Simmons served as emcee for the benefit and she offered to auction a diamond encrusted Baby Phat Motorola cell phone. She and her fashion line Baby Phat has become a triumph in New York’s press during the Olympus Fashion Week.
"I admire the tremendous work Russell and his brothers Danny and Joseph have been able to accomplish with their foundation," said Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. "This organization has truly helped many disadvantaged young people by providing exposure and access to the arts."
The Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation was founded in 1995 by Russell, Danny and Joseph Simmons.
