Camilla Parker Bowles, the fiancee of Prince Charles, was not invited to this weeks two prestigious banquets at the Queen Elizabeths London residence, The Buckingham Palace.
The banquets are held for Italian President Carlo Ciampi on Tuesday an Wednesday, and the future wife of Prince Charles is not allowed to be present.
The Sun reported that in comparison with Princess Diana who was present at the state banquet for the King of Saudi Arabia before her marriage to Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles is out of favor with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The paper also quoted a Palace source as saying: "There is no real reason why Camilla could not have attended. She is the Prince of Wales' fiancée and as such, it would be natural for her to be included.
"The fact she wasn't is evidence she is still held in petty contempt by senior royals.
But according to Camilla's spokesperson the Princess Consort-to-be did not attend the feasts because of the other plans.
As for the royal wedding, it is no secret that the pair decided not to televise their marriage. They are to have a private ceremony, unlike the ceremony Charles had with his first wife – tragically killed Princess Diana. The first ceremony was watched by about 750 millions of people all around the world.
One more unknown fact about the wedding concerns Camilla's Ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles.
