Sean P. Diddy is looking for a new chief executive at his Sean John apparel company since the Februarys quitting of the executive vice president of sales and marketing - Jeffrey Tweedy.
There is one known candidate for this position - Bob Wichser, the former chief executive of Joseph Abboud. After the leaving of Tweedy, Sean is both founder and chief executive of the $450 million namesake business, and the exact position’s title is still unclear, New York Post reports.
Sean John, first founded in 1998, begun with a T-shirts-and-jeans, insensibly changing into to a highly regarded designer sportswear. Now, after being named last June the men’s designer of the year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Sean Combs is ready to launch a women’s clothing range later this year.
A spokesman for Sean John made no comments, and attempts to reach Wichser were unsuccessful. Sources said that no contract was signed yet.
