World-famous beauty Susan Sarandon is going to appear in Revlons advertising campaign as the new (not necessarily meaning young) face of the brand. Sarandon admits that she took the job, because she was impressed by the cosmetic companys politics to hire somebody instead of fire somebody even younger then she is.
Susan is also proud to represent companys new print and television ad campaign, saying she doesnt believe in plastic surgery or face-lifts.
[The results] make people either look like a burn victim or a female impersonator, she said when interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres on the comediennes NBC talk show.
I am honored to be a part of a company like Revlon that promotes the idea that women can be beautiful at any age, she said.
Susan Sarandon is perfect for the Revlon brand. Her beauty and talent have broad appeal, said Revlons executive vice president and chief marketing officer Stephanie Klein Peponis.
