Susan Sarandon  Favors Revlon’s Age-Defying Policy

World-famous beauty Susan Sarandon is going to appear in Revlon’s advertising campaign as the new (not necessarily meaning “young”) face of the brand. Sarandon admits that she took the job, because she was impressed by the cosmetic company’s politics “to hire somebody instead of fire somebody even younger” then she is.

Susan is also proud to represent company’s new print and television ad campaign, saying she doesn’t believe in plastic surgery or face-lifts.

“[The results] make people either look like a burn victim or a female impersonator,“ she said when interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres on the comedienne’s NBC talk show.

“I am honored to be a part of a company like Revlon that promotes the idea that women can be beautiful at any age,“ she said.

“Susan Sarandon is perfect for the Revlon brand. Her beauty and talent have broad appeal,“ said Revlon’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer Stephanie Klein Peponis.
