Ex-Gucci designer Tom Ford is rumored to be joining the Estee Lauder Cosmetics. Ford, whose future plans include acting, film direction, eyewear licenses and car design, is to take up a big position of a creative director within the company.

British Vogue quoted Ford asked on Thursday about the rumors, and the designer answered he had “not as of yet signed any deals at this time".

The results of discussion with the cosmetic group, which owns such brands as Clinique, Origins and Crème de la Mer, are to be announced within the next two weeks.
