LOreal Fashion Week, more famous as Toronto Fashion Week, Kicked off Monday March 14 and continues through Saturday March 19 at Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex in Toronto.
The fashion week was sheduled to begin with the designer Arthur Mendonçam who launched his label in 2002 showcasing his fall-winter 2005 collection. Winner of the 2004 National Post Design Exchange awards and the semi-finalist at the 2005 Rising Star Awards, Mendonçam presented his collections in Toronto, Los Angeles and São Paulo. The next designer showing on the first day of L’Oreal Toronto Fashion Week is Paul Hardy. His show will be opened by Heather Marks, one of few Canadian models gracing international catwalks.
The closing role will most likely belong to Mackage, whose designers Dahan and Elfassy will present elegant wool jackets with leather detailing “ charming in the most sexy jet-setter way.” – according to WWD.
Toronto Fashion Week is Canada’s most recognized fashion event, which attracts the most famous and talented Canadian designers from Atlantic to the Pacific. L’Oreal Fashion Week helps Canadian designers and fashion industry representatives unite and communicate with rest of the fashion world, uniting media and buyers and foreign representatives.
