Donald Trump appeared at the Chicago Marshall Field’s on Tuesday to promote his newly-released fragrance “Donald Trump”, launched in cooperation with Aramis and Designer Fragrances, a division of the Estee Lauder Companies, and already known by a nickname “power in a bottle”.

Greeted by the crowd of 1,500 fans, Trump said: “I love this scent. You’ll love it. It will make you feel like a success.”

The fragrance, priced $60, is sold in a tall golden-topped sky-scraper shaped bottle and has been released just in time before Christmas. “If you’re a woman, buy this cologne for your husband, boyfriend, or significant other -- and the same goes for you guys,” Trump says.

When asked what he thinks of the new trend of women wearing men’s cologne, he said:

“Why not? The lady in my life loves it. The Fragrance is for everyone. It’s the No. 1 seller here at Field’s. You know, I’ve never been a fragrance guy, but now I really love this cologne.”

At a launch party Wednesday night he said: “Any man who wears this fragrance and have any woman - or man - that you want; it’s your choice!”
