Actively developing her new career as fashion designer and guru, Victoria Beckham, previously known as Posh Spice, flew to the US this week to promote her new collection for trendy denim brand Rock & Republic. The line, which includes maternity jeans, a miniskirt and T-shirts, debuted at Los Angeles fashion week on Friday.

The former Spice Girl has recently took a trip to China, where she is to judge an international model competition, and to Japan - to finalize details on a range of handbags she’s designing with Samantha Thavasa.

The 30-year-old celebrity, a mother of two expecting her third child with the football ace David, has reportedly given up on her music in order to pursue a career in fashion, saying: “I mean, it wasn’t as if I was the best singer”.

“This is the start of a new phase in Victoria’s career, combining two things she loves - business and fashion. She’s going to be more behind the scenes, but she is very excited,” said Mrs. Beckham’s spokeswoman, as reports Hello Magazine.
