British fashion legend Vivienne Weswood, who signed up Marylin Manson and his fiancee Dita Von Tesse to pose for her designs, is currently making a wedding dress for Dita. The designer has teamed up with Mr. Pearl who provides “these exquisite corsets” for the pinup star, famous for her penchant for retro clothes and styles, to create a truly exquisite wedding ensemble.

“I’m not going to wear white, black or red.” Von Teese says. “I’m not wearing any gothic wedding gown and I’m not wearing some big puffy white dress. I’m incredibly excited. It won’t be a truly traditional ceremony, but it won’t be anything freaky or satanic either.“

Vivienne Westwood and her husband and business partner Andreas made friends with Marilyn Manson and Von Teese at the one of the last year’s dinner parties. Manson wore Westwood designs during his recent tour. The “Queen of Punk “ used the rocker’s Personal Jesus track during her spring/summer 2005 womenswear and autumn/winter 2005-6 menswear shows.

“I like his music; I like his brain, his looks and his style,” she told the Daily News. “He’s marrying Dita who must be his dream - I’m looking forward to the dress - and to her act - friends tell me it’s something else.”

Westwood, who for the past 20 years has been the most recognized and influential fashion designer in Britain, shot to fame in 1976 after her lover and business partner, Malcolm McLaren dresses the band he managed, called the Sex Pistols, in clothes from her boutique. The boutique, called “Let It Rock,” has changed its name for several time until it got its final name “Sex” in 1974.
