Pop diva Whitney Houston has checked into rehab again to get rid of her drug addiction. It has been three years after the singer first revealled in her interview with Diane Sawyer for ABS’s “Primetime”, that she had used alcohol, cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs.

A year after her confession the Grammy-winning singer and actress first entered the rehab facility. On Wednesday Houston's publicist Nancy Seltzer made a short statement :

"Whitney Houston has reentered a facility for rehabilitation," providing no further information about where and when.

There have always been lots of rumors about Houston's drug use. In January 2000 the singer was arrested for marijuana posession in Hawaii airport.

20 years ago the 41-year-old beauty's debut album became the best-selling female debut album at that time. In 1992 the "The Bodyguard" with Whitney Houston as the leading lady and Kevin Costner as her partner hit the cinemas. Her single “I Will Always Love You” still remains the most famous song of the singer.

Houston is now working on her new album Just Whitney with her producer Clive Davis. It will be the singer's first album since 2002.
